Eleni Kastrenakes Howard

Senior Associate

Eleni Kastrenakes Howard joined Ackerman Law Group in 2017. She is an experienced commercial litigator with significant background in handling complex federal and state cases from the pre-suit phase through trial. She concentrates her practice in the areas of business litigation and professional malpractice defense.  She played an important role in the firm’s work on a trial court victory in a trade practice case involving significant lost profits claims.

Before joining the firm, Eleni was a litigation Associate with Holland & Knight, LLP where she concentrated her practice in the areas of products liability, contract and real estate disputes, tort litigation, probate litigation, and premises liability.

Eleni currently serves as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County; she was appointed to this position by Governor Rick Scott in 2017.

While in law school, Eleni was a staff member of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal and a member of the Wake Forest Moot Court Board. While on the Moot Court Board, she served on both the Wake Forest National Moot Court Team and the Wake Forest First Amendment Moot Court Team. She received book awards in Legal Research and Writing, Comparative Legal Systems, and Pre-Trial Practice and Procedure.
